About Studio 2

Studio 2 is steeped in television history, it was in this very studio that ‘The Beatles’ rehearsed before their first ever television appearance and where the very first Coronation Street sets stood. A medium studio space at just 3,200 sq feet that is fully air conditioned and temperature controlled. The studio lighting is serviced by a slot grid and the monopoles allow for studio light to be place exacted where they are needed. The production lighting has been designed to embrace the future, with 100% power distribution for LED. Studio 2 has an integrated 180 degree infinity curve and a maximum height of 7.35 meters suited for small multi camera sets, adverts, green screen virtual studio, photoshoots and small audience based broadcasts. The galleries are comprised of lighting, production and sound interlinking rooms with easy access to the studio floor and one viewing window. Access to dressing rooms, star dressing rooms, superstar dressing rooms, green rooms and makeup / wardrobe department are all closely linked and all have easy access to the studio floor.
